What is Essence?
Essence is used in the leveling up the wanderer. It is used in special level up objects and which where you can use the gained customizable stats to be able to improve some stats. It can be gained from defeating enemies and using the essence consumables found around the game.
What happens to Essence when you die?
Essence would then be gained by the last enemy that killed you, if you die from said falling or other enviromental hazards you will not be lose essence and it can be retained on your next life.
